Meeting ASME B36.10 dimensional standards, these 9Cr-2W alloy pipes boast exceptional creep resistance (25.7 ksi allowable stress at -20-100°F). With 620 MPa tensile and 440 MPa yield strength, they undergo rigorous testing, including hydrostatic and non-destructive examination, ensuring compliance for critical boiler and power plant use. P92 (9Cr-2W) has a specific chemical composition with high chromium and molybdenum content, giving it superior creep resistance and long-term stability at elevated temperatures.

Alloy Steel P92 is designed to withstand high temperatures, with a typical operating range of up to 650°C (1200°F). It is suitable for applications involving extreme thermal stress and elevated pressures.

P92 is an enhanced version of P91, a 9% chromium-molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel. It offers superior creep resistance and high-temperature strength compared to P91, thanks to the addition of tungsten, vanadium, and niobium. Additionally, P92 features a slightly reduced molybdenum content and precise control of boron and nitrogen levels, further improving its performance.
