What Are Monel Fittings?

Monel fittings are items whose manufacturing is based on monel, a nickel-copper alloy with outstanding corrosion resistance and strength. They are available in fittings that are designed to be used in critical piping systems that need durability and reliability at high pressure or in corrosive environments.

Monel 400 has a good resistance to seawater, acids, and alkalis hence it is in every way suitable to be applied in marine, chemical, and offshore environments. Enhanced with aluminium and titanium, Monel K500 is harder and tougher; it is age-hardened, which is useful in valves, pumps and heat exchangers.
