Solitaire Overseas is a trusted Cupro Nickel Pipes Supplier & Exporter. Our Cu-Ni 90/10 Pipe is a 90% copper, 10% nickel alloy that also contains small but significant additions of iron and manganese to improve overall strength and corrosion resistance. These Cupro Nickel 90 10 EFW Pipes are alloys that have reasonable power and thermal stability at high temperature levels. In clean natural salt water or in seawater chlorinated to levels sufficient to control biological metabolism, CuNi 90/10 is resistant to localized attack.
Due to its biofouling resistance, there are a limited number of possible sites for pitting attack, still in slow moving water; however, in polluted water containing hydrogen sulfide, pitting regularly takes place in the form of wide and low pits. The undercut type of pitting normally associated with stainless steel is not common for CuNi 90/10. For a comparison of grades, see our page on Cupro Nickel 70/30 Pipes Supplier & Exporter or read our blog on Copper Nickel Tubes & Pipes — Grades, Uses and Benefits.

CuNi 90/10 Pipes are used across various application industries. For complete form coverage in copper-nickel, also see our Cupro Nickel 90/10 Tubes Supplier & Exporter and Copper Nickel Products pages.
Mechanical Testing such as Tensile of Area, Hardness Test, Chemical Analysis – Spectro Analysis, Positive Material Identification tests are conducted. Other tests include Micro and Macro Test, Intergranular Corrosion (IGC) Test, Flattening Test, Flaring Test, and Pitting Resistance Test.
We understand the importance of CuNi 90/10 Pipes packaging, especially during international shipments where the delivery has to pass through a number of channels to arrive at the final destination. We take proper care of packing. Usually pipes are packed in wooden cases/pallets and wrapped in environmental poly bags.
The UNS number is C70600. The grade is covered by ASTM B466 / ASME SB466 and is also known as CuNi 90/10 or cupro nickel 90/10. Werkstoff Nr. is 2.0872.
CuNi 90/10 (C70600) resists seawater corrosion AND releases copper ions that actively inhibit marine biofouling, eliminating cleaning downtime that plagues stainless steel and titanium systems.
Choose 90/10 for standard seawater cooling and firewater lines where cost efficiency is a priority. Upgrade to 70/30 for higher flow velocities, elevated temperatures, or more aggressive media.
We supply OD 1/2" to 6", schedules SCH20 through XXS, in seamless and welded form per ASTM B466 / ASME SB466. Large-volume and custom-length orders are accepted. Request a quote today.
